The Malawi Polytechnic management is currently locked up in a meeting following the school’s closure on Wednesday evening.
On Wednesday, students took to the streets over delays in allowances and police officers fired teargas canisters to disperse the students from the street and restore order.
The situation forced management at the school to close the institution, ordering all students to leave the campus by 8am today.
Currently, a few students remain at the Campus with their bags packed while some are already at the Polytechnic and Ginnery Corner minibus depots ready to catch a bus to their destination.
