The Director of Research for Nigeria’s National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPSS), Professor Habu Galadima, has said Malawi and Nigeria can strengthen education system through improved policies.
Speaking in an interview with Malawi News Agency (Mana), Galadima, who was part of an education delegation that is visiting Malawi, said the two countries can find common areas which need to be worked on to improve education.
“Malawi and Nigeria need to fill those critical gaps that need attention in order to improve education starting from primary to tertiary levels,” he said.
Galadima added that the objective of the tour is to help experts draw new education structures and for policymakers in both countries to understand their respective educational system.
According to Galadima, there are a number of education delegates visiting countries such as Zambia and South Africa
The NIPSS members will be in the country for 10 days.
